Apple iPhone 5s vs iPhone 5c Overview
Many people out there like me are searching for a new smartphone, some of you have narrowed your choice down to one of the new iPhones. The problem is with this latest release, there are two different versions to choose from. Hopefully with this post, I can shed some light on the differences between the Apple iPhone5s help anyone out there make their finally decision.

- Price
- You will pay about $100 more for the 5s for the equivalent amount of memory in the 5c.
- Color and Exterior
- The S comes in limited colors but is made out of sturdy Gorilla Glass
- The C has a variety of colors but is made out of a plastic
- Weight
- The S comes in at 3.95 ounces
- The C weights more coming in at 4.65 ounces
- Chips
- The S has a new “A7” 64-bit processor which is similar to those of desktop computers
- Now 2X faster in computing and graphics power than the previous generation
- Has an additional “M7” coprocessor which handles work that would have normally been done by the main chip which translates to being more energy efficient.
- Touch ID
- The S has fingerprint recognition for added security on the lock screen
- This might be a concern for those over their personal privacy
- iSight Camera- (features below only on 5s)
- Auto Image Stabilization: takes several quick shots and blends them together to get a clear, non-blurry image.
- Burst Mode: Captures 10 images per second allowing you to catch difficult live action shots of moving objects.
- Video Recording
- The S features a slow-motion video capture allows you to record in 120 frames per second

- Although the color options are not the same for each type, keep in mind that you will be able to purchase iPhone cases that can customize your phone to any color from Apple and other third-party vendors.

- Both phones are supplied by carriers: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile

- Both phones are compatible for LTE high speed internet from your service providers

- Earphones are redesigned to be smaller and fit better in-ear
- Lightning connector charges all versions of the iPhone5. Older charges are not compatible with these versions.
