I’d like to start off by saying that this is the app that I use the most out of any out there. My life revolves around music whether I am exercising, studying, cooking, or cleaning I need to have music playing in the background. Nowadays, there are so many independent artists producing music that it’s not too hard to find a person with over 10,000 songs in their library. The problem with this, is that it takes up so much space on your portable device’s hard drives. Whereas the Spotify Mobile App will not take up the local memory to store song files.
Spotify Mobile App grants you access to a massive online music database. In order to have full access to Spotify on my mobile device, I find it well worth it to pay the $9.99/month. When I ask myself whether or not it was worth it, I quickly realize that I would spend a lot more money paying per/song via the iTunes music store at the rate that I discover music I like.
On this mobile app, you have the ability to:

- Capable of filtering search by Track, Album, or Artist.
- Once the song is playing, you can view:
- Other songs in the same Album
- Other songs by the same Artist
- Add it to your personal playlist
- Star it as a favorite
- Share it online
- Listen to a radio station consisting of similar songs
- Discover:
- Spotify recognizes songs and artists that are listened to frequently and makes suggestions based on similar artists or styles of music
- Listen to Radio:
- Ability to create an online radio station with only music similar to a favorite song, artist, or genre.
- Premium version can be listened to Ad-Free.
- Listen to Playlists:

- Through the Spotify Search/Discover/Radio, you are able to add any song that you like to a playlist that you have created.
- Follow a playlist that somebody else has created and be notified when new songs are being added.
- With Spotify Premium, you have access to the ‘Offline Mode’ which enables you to listen to playlists without an internet connection.

Features I would like to see on the mobile version:
-Currently there is no way to add other User’s playlist directly from your phone.
-The applications within Spotify cannot be access via your portable device.
-Alternative payment plan specified for mobile users.
